With the growth of learning and teaching across the globe through our world-leading curriculum, the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC), Fieldwork Education has worked in partnership with schools for over 35 years to improve learning.
Our experience of working together with over 1,000 schools and their unique learning contexts in over 90 countries has enabled us to develop and establish rigorous and supportive approaches to school self-review and quality assurance of curriculum implementation through accreditation, firmly rooted in the belief that reflecting on practice can lead to improving learning.
As the international community of schools that learn and teach with our international curriculum continues to grow, we look to drive forward our shared commitment with schools to the quality of learning and how together, we may continuously strive for improvements.
I am delighted to introduce you to the International Curriculum Association (ICA), established by Fieldwork Education, our formalized identity for the provision of support to schools aimed at improving learning. The ICA represents an exciting new chapter in the journey of our international curriculum and our efforts towards our aim, through the provision of support services to schools, quality assurance processes and recognition and accreditation awards.
The ICA mission is to collaborate with, challenge and inspire schools around the world to unlock potential in their implementation of an international curriculum, by:
Through collaboration and challenge that are rooted in trust, we unlock potential and seek personal and professional growth. Our whole is greater than the sum of our parts.
Committing to improvement
Using the processes of self-reflection and evaluation, underpinned by objective and transparent criteria that guide decision-making, we strive for continuous improvement in all that we do.
We take pride in developing ourselves and schools as ambassadors of quality. We are passionate about nurturing sustainable improvement; recognising, articulating, and valuing the processes; celebrating the distance travelled; and securing the longer-term outcomes.
Looking for learning
Everything that we do aims to improve learning. Whether working with learners, teachers, leaders or the community, maximising the learning potential of everyone is at the core of our practice.
