Matthew Silvester is the Head of IEYC

Matthew has worked in schools and educational organisations for over 25 years. He has been teaching with the IPC and IEYC for over 12 years, as a teacher and school leader. Matthew is committed to working with schools to enhance the IEYC over time; he believes that creativity is a community resource, and schools are inherently creative organisations. In 2011, the UK’s Lamb Inquiry into Parental Confidence in Special needs Provision identified Matthew and his school as one of only nine ‘strong providers’ within the UK.
