Fieldwork Education Regional Event: Belgium

These 2-day professional learning events are held at member schools around the world. They offer the opportunity to engage with other teachers from across the region and gain a mix of perspectives from a variety of schools. Each Regional Event has a choice of 2- day courses taken from the professional learning pathway for each international curriculum. Whether you are a brand new to the international curriculum or an experienced member school we can support you in your professional learning.

At this event you will have the opportunity to attend one of the following 2-day courses:

IEYC: Level 1 : Implementing the IEYC

Our Implementing course provides an excellent foundation of learning for participants to understand the philosophy and process behind the curriculum and gain a clear idea of how to take action in their school. We recommend the Implementing course for schools and/or teachers who are new to the IEYC.

IPC: Level 1 : Implementing the IPC

Our Implementing course provides an excellent foundation of learning for participants to understand the philosophy and process behind the curriculum and gain a clear idea of how to take action in their school. We recommend the Implementing course for schools and/or teachers who are new to the IPC.

IPC: Level 2 : Identifying, Assessing and Improving Learning with the IPC

This course is ideal for schools who are confident with their implementation of the IPC, and now want to dig deeper into learning. The course links closely to Criteria 1, 5 and 9 of the IPC Self-Review Process, exploring the differences between knowledge, skills and understanding and how these impact on planning, teaching, learning, assessing and reporting. The course also looks at the IPC Assessment for Learning programme in more detail, sharing best practice from IPC schools around the world.

IPC: Level 2 : Leading the IPC

This course is for those people who have or will have responsibility for leadership, coordination and management of the IPC in their school. The courses will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to lead the implementation of the IPC in their schools and to give advice to colleagues on IPC related matters.
