Fieldwork Education is delighted to announce a new collaboration between IPC and Jigsaw PSHE. Jigsaw brings together Personal, Social, Health and Economic education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development in a lesson-a-week programme. Designed as a whole school approach, Jigsaw provides a comprehensive scheme of learning for Foundation Stage to Year 6.
It has been wonderful to work with Jigsaw focusing on the Personal Learning Goals of IPC and how these align to the Jigsaw PSHE programme. The Jigsaw resource is a fantastic addition to a school to support development of children’s capacity for learning and the skills to equip them for life. At Fieldwork Education we believe the emotional well-being of children is vital for this development to happen and are thrilled to now offer schools support to combine both Jigsaw and IPC
I have always been impressed with the creative range of exciting learning opportunities offered by the IPC, and our shared philosophy about personal development and emotional/mental health underpinning the capacity to learn was clear at my first meeting with Anna. Our collaboration is an exciting prospect as we move forward bringing an holistic package to schools, always with children and young people at the heart of our work
Fieldwork Education and Jigsaw are committed to improving learning in classrooms by placing quality PSHE education right at the heart of it. We are planning on continuing the collaboration further into the year, with a joint webinar and attendance at each other’s events.
Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting collaboration and read more in this blog by our Head of IPC, Anna Vaughan.
